Freddie Mercury died at the age of 45 on 24 November 1991. The cause of death was pneumonia resulting from AIDS.

The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach in Freddie’s memory. To date, the Trust has given away over $15 million in Freddie’s name and funded over 700 projects in the global battle against HIV/AIDS.

All profits from sales will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust to help fund desperately needed HIV/AIDS initiatives with the aim of eradicating the disease worldwide.
